Can’t stop talking about Danish movies
I like to watch them on the video
I can’t understand a single thing they say
I read the words and it’s all ok hey hey
Woo hoo hoo
I want to talk about it, say what you mean when you look me in the eye, yeah
Woo hoo hoo
You never talk about the things that you think when you’re looking away no.
Woo hoo hoo
I wanna talk about it now.
Can’t stop thinking about those Danish movies
Keep watching something that I can’t understand
Dark hours of silence and a head full of fear
Searching for clues that I might overhear, yeah

She takes it to me
She sees right through me
She takes her time when she’s on the right side
Her head is aching
Her heart can’t take it
But she makes it by when she’s on the right side

Surrounded
Surround me
Take me to the other side
Surround
Surrounded
Surround me
Take me to the other side
Surrender to it
There’s nothing to it
Surround yourself with
Your heartache
She knows you’ll come to
You’ll find a way to
For now you hide your eyes for the long ride
Your head is aching
Your heart can’t take it
But you’ll make the time to get to the right side
And I know
Well I know
Alright I know
And I know
Yes I know
Alright I know

Spending all my time just a driving around
Gonna listen to my records, all the number one sounds
I'm a conductor. I'm like liquid electric and I'll shock you
When the night gets hectic
Another sunny day and I'm playing the odds
I lost a twenty-dollar bet on the three-button mods
The tape is in the car and it's really not far
But it's a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy oh yeah. Oh no!
Everybody's getting down to the number one sounds
Gonna turn the car around head back to the town
Where everybody's getting down
Spending all my days in the urban cafes,
And in the evenings I’m a star at the hotel bar.
The band is in the basement and they’re just my size,
but all the drugs are telling lies you can see it in their eyes.
I’d walk a million miles for your never ending smiles,
the vacation generation is the curse of the nation oh yeah! All right!

Foxhall Stacks Washington, D.C.
Guitarist Jim Spellman (Velocity Girl, High Back Chairs) assembled these DC veterans in late 2015. Bassist Brian Baker is a legit punk godfather, with close to 40 years on bass and guitar for Minor Threat, Dag Nasty, and Bad Religion. Pete Moffett drummed for Government Issue and Wool before joining singer/guitarist Bill Barbot (Jawbox) in Burning Airlines. Decent pedigree, this lot. ... more
